If you want to take your package to the nearest UPS store, all you have to do is take the item there. You don't need to wrap it or print the label. UPS can do that for you. However, if you want to save some time, you can pack it in the box you received it in, print out the label and attach it to the box.
Before you go to the UPS store to return the package, check your email. UPS will send you a returns code to show to the clerk when you arrive at the store.

If the item you are returning is eligible for a no-box, no-label return, you must select the drop-off return method during your return process on the Amazon website. Amazon will email you a QR code to show the UPS employee in store. You scan the QR code and confirm the return of the item. That's it. You do not have to take care of the packaging or labeling of the item yourself. However, the QR code does not work if you select the pickup/return option.

When you choose your shipping method, you'll see other options besides UPS. They are all great alternatives if you don't have a UPS store near you.
Return the package to Kohl's
When you start the Amazon return process, you can choose Kohl delivery instead of UPS. You will receive a QR code that you must present to Kohl. After scanning it, they will pack, label and ship your Amazon product. Their service is also free. You might even be lucky and get the coupon from Kohl after you've made your Amazon returns there.
Go to Amazon's own physical stores or a hub locker
If you live near a physical Amazon store or their locker, you can use their services to return your package. Stores like Amazon Go, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Style must do the sameScan the QR codeto return an item. Not all items can be returned using the Amazon Store Dropoff option. If your package is not eligible, you will be offered other return methods to choose from.
Amazon Hub lockers are another great way to return your package. If you choose this option, Amazon will email you a return code that you enter on the locker's touchscreen display. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to drop off your package in the locker. Note that your returns must be properly wrapped and boxed in order to use Amazon's physical stores and Hub Locker.

Whole Foods Market accepts Amazon returns
When starting the Amazon returns process, you can select Whole Foods Market as the drop-off location. But note that only some of them accept free return without box. Others require you to pack and label the package yourself. You can also select the preferred store, but if the stores near you are not listed, it means those store locations are not eligible for returns.
Again, Amazon will email you the QR code to show the staff at Whole Food Market to return your package. Returns are made at the store access point, either at a returns kiosk or at a customer service desk.
Try the DoorDash service
DoorDashis now offering a new feature: package returns. That means you can ask a Dasher to come to your home and collect the Amazon package for return. At the moment they offer to take your package to the nearest UPS, FedEx, USPS or physical store. But they don't take your package to the lockers. Your service is not free and your return must be properly packed, sealed and labeled.
